DESCRIPTION:

The Scotch-Brite General Purpose Hand Pad is the perfect alternative to steel wool grade 1. Its non-woven, open-web material is resistant to loading and can be used with water, solvents, or dry to clean, finish, grain, de-nib, de-fuzz, and even scuff and deburr. Unlike steel wool, this 6" x 9" pad will not shred, rust, or create metal splinters. Fold, stack, or roll it for effective cleaning and conditioning on flat, contoured, and irregular surfaces. It can be used by hand for precise control, with a hand pad block for uniform finishing, or on an in-line sander for larger areas. Made with very fine grade aluminum oxide mineral, it is suitable for use on a variety of surfaces like wood, metal, plastics, ceramics, porcelain, glass, rubber, and composites.
